Best of BenCham Awards winners of 2017!!

Last week our team from Novosana participated in the Best of BenCham Awards ceremony of 2017! Best of BenCham is an iconic annual ceremony where the community from the Benelux Chamber of Commerce, Shanghai (BenCham) comes together to celebrate to successes and development within the community.

The Benelux Chamber of Commerce – BenCham – is the most active Benelux business platform in China. Its members, leading companies from Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, share an active interest in developing trade and business in China.

This year’s edition took place on November 23rd at the Andaz Xintiandi Hotel and was attended by 220 guests. Our presentation and the award ceremony were  attended by the Consul Generals of the Kingdom of Belgium, the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

KBC Company of the Year 

In the category Company of Year, our Novosana team was selected for the top three finalist, which resulted in an on-stage pitch followed by a live-voting session from the audience. where the results were added up with the pre-voting results. The audience was moved by the different stories about how each company managed to make a difference in the last year or contributed to their respected industry. 

Congratulations to the winner UCB and the second finalist GONVVAMA for their performances!

Personality of the year

The ceremony started with the Personality of the Year – Mr. Mark Greeven. With our Dutch roots, it was great to see Mr. Greeven being celebrated with this award. He is a Chinese speaking Dutch professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Zhejiang University (Hangzhou, China), and Director for the MBA Global Entrepreneurship Program.
